Infection Control is of the utmost importance at the Mercy University Hospital. Patient care is at the centre of everything we do and we strive to minimise patient exposure to outside infection.

Visitors play a part in helping us keep our infection rates under control. So, when visiting our hospital please keep the following points in mind:
  • Use a hand sanitiser on arrival at the Hospital
  • Wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser after spending time in a public area of the hospital
  • Please do not visit patients if you are unwell, carrying a cold, flu or stomach bug.
